i would say just make resources available for people so that they can find themselves and you just focus on yourself. if anyone does things wrong, then that’s on them. i feel like it’s a waste of time to gatekeep anymore. i usually just tell people that they are doing things wrong once and i’m done

oh right. makes sense. i like paganism, but yes, it does lack a sense of self. i’ve always considered my self to be one of my core values and frequently use introspection to reflect on that. i have definitely shattered multiple times from trauma, but i’m always working to better my sense of self

you know, honestly i’ve felt this too from some people. i identified as a therian when i first joined the fandom in 2009 and it had a really deep spiritual connection for everyone back then. quite frankly i’m afraid to ask people a lot younger than me about their therianthropy these days
