I hope so too. My original intention with the comment was to compare how both characters were sidelined in their respective trilogies, but I could have worded it better, oops.

Honestly, I don’t think the CG for him was bad at all, it was revolutionary at the time. Unfortunately people wanted a punching bag and the easiest target was the comic relief.

I wasn’t trying to promote anything negative. I was just saying that Disney’s poor treatment of the character seemed like a reaction to the overblown backlash against her, similar to how they treated Jar Jar.
