Exonerating civil rights leader Marcus Garvey is a low-lift way for the Biden admin to further its promise to advance racial justice, says Rep. Barbara Lee.

It'd be “a moment of racial healing and transformation,” she says. “Not just for the Black community, but for the entire country.” #Velshi
‘Unfinished business’: lawmakers push Biden to exonerate civil rights leader Marcus Garvey
21 Members of Congress sent a letter urging President Biden to exonerate the late civil rights leader Marcus Garvey. The plea is part of a decades-long effort to clear Garvey’s name, who was convicted of mail fraud in 1923 following a campaign of government surveillance and targeting – charges Rep. Barbara Lee, one of the letter’s co-signers, calls “fabricated.” “There’s a lot of unfinished business in America as it relates to African American equity and justice,” says Rep. Lee.

Boggles the mind.
I will never understand how a billionaire, the richest man on Earth, spent millions to buy an election for ANOTHER billionaire, and told us that his policies would cause all of us non-billionaires “temporary hardship...”

...and the public didn't tell BOTH OF THEM to fuck off.
