As someone who makes trips to the Rochester area to do a "Roc Loop" of brewery stops, I highly suggest it. And it's a gorgeous area to have a pint and enjoy the views

Highly recommend Briarbrothers if you haven't been! My personal favorite in Buffalo (excluding those that have secondary+ taprooms here)

This may be too literal but bock, dark czech lager or a sharp, crisp west. Having some toasty notes is just warming enough and west for me cuts through the little cold thats around

A favorite of mine since day 1. One of my favorite beers ever from them was their everything bagel beer. Yes. Unique and outlandish but on point and fun. The taproom was once loaded with wooden tables and had a beautiful nightsky in the recessed area (some things I miss). Hope its great! Enjoy!

Absolutely! There was a local place with the novelty of fresh hops yr round cuz their main business was greenhouse plants. They closed for that reason. Im in the works of starting my own spot on the side and no matter the networking or convos, the pitfalls are all different. Very interesting and sad

Is there a noticeable common thread? I used to see a lot of expansion too quickly or over projecting, but it seems even some of the stable or growing spots are wrapping it up
