I agree with this but I'm still happy this guy died. He was the worst of the worst.

I honestly don't expect the game to do anything too interesting with it, but it would be cool if they did.

I wanna say that they did it to avoid repeating lines/characterization beats from other crossover games. It has the potential to be done interestingly--the characters can have flashes of memory from the past and wonder what kind of person they used to be.
