😊 This one is just a year old. The 4 point (8 point if you are from the East) buck that hangs around our yard is really a magnificent animal.

He is currently lying down outside the kitchen window with the doe lying about 10 feet away. Neither seems to be concerned as we walk around the yard.

They were watching me closely.

Since the PCT passes near our house we often do day trips. There is always something interesting to see along the trail.

We often do day walks on the PCT as it is near where we live with several good starting points.

I am always excited to see these beautiful birds.

I now live in NE California (high desert) but cannot wait to get back to Oregon. I also love the Pacific Northwest.
