I think instead of a mutiny it would have been interesting if there was a way to get home but only one of the ships was able to make it through before the anomaly or technology failed .. like the ferengi and federation shuttle in the delta quadrant in tng

It's a superb two-parter but I agree, this would have been a really interesting season or two had they kept the Equinox around for a while longer.

I thin the briefing room would get a lot of use lol
