Health update- TW: weight loss

It’s been a year and I am down 70lbs as of this morning from 273.1lbs.

My mantra is still progress over perfection because chronic illness makes weight almost impossible at times.

I don’t do any cardio, I watch my heart rate and HRV like hawk- it’s work.

I hate it here sometimes. Local Con MP Scott Anderson is supporting this anti science nonsense that could be increasing the risk of avian flu mutation.

The owners didn’t want to follow bio security protocols because it was too hard but now are grifting and whining.

I was craving gyozas but I was starving (and didn’t want to over eat) so I made this a volume meal with beets and cucumbers drizzled with thinned black bean sauce.

Today I surpassed another weight loss goal of 65lbs! ⭐

Just under a year ago, I received some shitty health news that finally motivated me to lose weight. Simple blood tests revealed I had PCOS and I wasn’t a failure at healthy eating.

And here I am a year later! 🙌🏼

Today was such a beautiful day in Kelowna! The wee flowers are starting to pop up.

My middle son turned 18 and it’s so so rewarding to have political discussions with my kids are hear the engagement and empathy. I know how he’ll vote this year & why & I am so proud of him 🩷
