I was at three separate doctors’ offices and the pharmacy this year and all had similar signage saying something to the effect of “Our staff are someone’s family, friend or loved one. Please be respectful and kind.” What are people doing/saying to provoke these signs? (I shudder to think.)

I’m in Oakland County and all our districts were closed today as well. We got snow last night, wintry mix during the morning rush hour, then rain, then intermittent snow flurries. It was like shoveling thick soup this morning!

Glad you found your happy ever after. My husband and I met at IU-Bloomington and moved back here where he grew up, as jobs were scarce in Indiana in ‘76. We actually live kitty corner from his grade school!

This is truly wild. Our classes were so big back then it’s always hit or miss when I ask if someone knows my cousins. Sharon and Craig are back in Cali after a couple years in Chile while he worked on a post-doc project there. I don’t get to see them as often as I’d like but stay in touch via FB.

I went to DG South, but had several cousins that went to North. Did you know Sharon, Jeff, David or Jan Peterson? Yes, I enjoy the Six Degrees aspect of social media. 😊

Speak up! Told my doctor she didn’t get to record my blood pressure if Fox was going to be on in the waiting room. She’s in a practice with four other doctors so I believed her when she said she didn’t know what was on the TV. Next visit GMA was on.

I’m in SE Michigan and got same snow o’nite. Love it. Rain now, tho’. 😢 BTW, Came to Michigan 50 years ago this month via IN and—wait for it—Downers Grove, IL! Lived there ‘67 to ‘73.
