Agree. It’s clear now that Trump want’s Putin to win, and there’s zero actual help that will come from the US. Europe needs to mostly ignore the Trump admin and get stuck in.

His question was valid, but highly inappropriate for someone in his role (high commissioner) to ask. That’s why he was fired. The NZ govt is not aligning itself with Trumps bullshit, as some in this comment section are suggesting.
