Thank you for even trying. Chickens can be really delightful. Each one with its own silly personality and preferences ☺️ we have a small rooster who managed to accomplish this recently. 🤣 Surrogate broody hen has it under control 😅

I think I might be losing my girl Ruth. She’s 5, found her staring blankly at a coop wall this morning. Took her outside to see if she would have clover. She stood staring, so I picked a piece and she took it, but she never swallowed it. 😞 Here she is, earlier this year

I have a huge love for bantams! I had a couple of little guys that were bantams of unknown origin (found them loose in the street!) A friend has them now because they bullied bloody my bantam Japanese Cochin roo 😩

I get it. This is Oby. He’s <3 months old - a fuzzy, goofy lapdog for now, with hair so soft it’s difficult not to pet him constantly; soon a giant lapdog? 🤪
