Such a fun gig in KC last night. And nothing could keep us from getting up at 6:30 and making it to the No Kings Protest in Des Moines. We are here early and it's already packed.

It wouldn't have mattered where we had a gig. Pick a city. The people are rising.

Count down to departure ~ 2 1/2 days left of practicing, packing, car and trailer maintenance, a million odds and ends and figuring out to what festy stuff to wear to two different fests ~ One in the mountains one in the tropics. Can't wait to be there 💕

Protest at my small town courthouse yesterday lit me up. Lit all of us up. Local musicians singing songs, Democratic officials were speaking. Cars honking in support. a lot of folks said it was the biggest protest they had seen at that courthouse. Best sign: Hate never made any country great.

When I was in Austin we had Health Alliance for Austin Musicians or HAAM It was the first time I ever had any kind of health/dental insurance.

I know so many need help right now but it's good to share every resource we find. And this is one for musicians.
