I can’t stop thinking about this book. So powerful. By far the best book I’ve read this year.

Perfect story about a sweet little perfectionist who learns that imperfections can be beautiful when her grandma fixes her shattered teacup with kintsugi (the Japanese art of sealing seams with gold). Love this story.

We love this one! It even had me feeling upside down with the page turns. So creative and the message is perfect.

I LOVE THIS BOOK! Lulu and her little dog are learning Chinese characters, and as she writes “door” she goes through it to another world where the characters live. Spend 5 minutes enjoying a cute story with a fire dragon or spend an hour digging into the cute characters on each page ❤️

Book of the day

Mary Walker always wanted to learn to read. But life as a slave and hardships that came with freedom prevented it. When she turned 116 (!) she enrolled in a reading class so she could learn to read her Bible. The story is wonderfully written and the illustrations are perfect for it.

I somehow missed this book when it came out. It’s amazing! @marciecolleen.bsky.social’s story is gorgeous and has exactly the right amounts of solemness and hope for tree that survived the 9/11 attacks.

2024 Product of the Year

This week an unnamed child decided to use the attachment on this vacuum to suck the water out of the toilet. Vacuum gets a ⭐️ for actually sucking up water and another ⭐️ for still working after getting soaked.

Now if anyone knows of a childproof TV, we’d be set.

Just started this one. Not sure how I feel about it yet. Yours looks interesting. I enjoyed The Emerald Mile.

Has everyone read this book? The rhymes are adorable and the MC is just like my oldest child 😂 Love Hyewon Yum’s illustrations and her hidden crickets.
