Look most of Wrapped is whatever but I find this hilarious -- it's completely because I inherited my dad's music tastes and have a falling asleep Playlist that's mostly singer-songwriter stuff from the late 60s thru 70s.

Anya and Ta for sure. Sometimes platonic, sometimes romantic, always in orbit and linked. Anya is deep water, patient, passive, research, older. Ta is fire sparking in shadows, daring, aggressive, instinctive, younger. Plus in battle they make for a classic healer and tank pairing.

There's the familiar tightness in his chest at the memory, an accompanying low boil of anger always lingering deep down, but Aymeric is the one place where, for now, he'll sometimes speak of them.

It's sort of a WIP Wednesday, as this conversation demanded it be written out. Not quite sure yet if it can be worked into a full thing but if anyone wants some TK Era Estimeric-y thoughts...
"Estinien?" Aymeric's voice is too casual, too smoothly crafted, not at all what he usually uses when they are together. The sudden and unusual artifice after what had been an otherwise unremarkable post-training retreat to the Forgotten Knight to huddle in a booth and warm up while they could find a little time for companionship, sets Estinien on edge, and his eyes dart up sharply to his friend's face, which matches his seeming ease. No. A slight tremor in his ear, something in the angle of his eyes... Estinien generally is unsure of his read of other people but he figures he knows Aymeric as well as he ever did any of his karakul. Given that, his instincts are screaming that the other man is actually nervous. Now he is too, but not so much so he cannot affect a rough hum of inquiry, encouraging the noble and officer to out with whatever is weighing on him. Seems like to be some sort of official nonsense. Another rarity, that Aymeric's next words are so quiet that it's only long practice that lets him pluck them from the general hum. "It has come to my attention that the most promising dragoon candidates will be meeting with the higher echelons soon." Another faint grunt of agreement. Hadn't been confirmed before, but he had hounded Alberic more than enough over the years to guess at the signs they were considering presenting the Eye soon. He couldn't wait. A brief wash of adrenaline warms him at the idea of having that power to finally -- Aymeric's voice pulls him back, aided by initial confusion. "I would suggest that if the Archbishop knows enough of you to ask, and he very likely does, you would be willing to present him with the impression you consider me mostly a competent and moderately tolerable comrade in arms." Something is very off in Aymeric's smile for all he could swear it was as if had been. His friend continues, his pale blue eyes pulling away towards the rest of the room. "Forgive me for saying so, but most would readily believe that is all a friend is to you. The Archbishop does not... Always feel favorable to me." A few beats as Estinien allows his mind to catch up, the first post dismissible but the latter... It would be ludicrous for someone of the Archbishop's rank to give any thought to an officer on Aymeric's level, other than perhaps to start tracking their record to see if they last. He has heard the rumors. Despite what some of the other dragoons and soldiers gave guessed, he is neither hard of hearing nor a clueless bumpkin. Even with the increasing record he has for defending the honor Aymeric won't, people still think they'll manage to sneak something past him. He's got a few scars on his knuckles that prove they failed. For all that, while Aymeric had hinted a few times before that he did know who has sired him, Estinien had never felt a need to push. Now, if seems Aymeric has openly admitted it, or at least in a way he knew he'd understand. Blinking to recenter himself, Estinien realizes perhaps only a second has been lost, those little tensions still there in Aymeric's face. As if he were afraid. As if he wanted to plead. A hint of resignation.

Been playing with gpose a little again. Last picture is why the label, although it's quite tame.

I decided at some point that Anya's teardrop forehead mark is a traditional Keeper thing to mark those not associated with any specific clan, even if they bear the name. Sort of a mix of free agent and 'I pay my own bills'.

Graphics update broke my old housing #estimeric shrine with the glorious graphic error of shifting in and out of one another so I had to adapt a little. There is no in game reason for it in an otherwise IC house but it brings me such joy. 😂

Aubergine/purple and yes it's natural. It's her primary shared trait with her ancient self, Oneiroi; most shards got her green eyes instead.
