Whitby go the weekend April 2025. What an absolutely smashing day! We listened to metal in the car, the sun shone, we ate ice cream and pasties, we met friends and chatted and wandered round the shops.

And just like that, 18 months of commuting to Manchester is done. Last lecture of my Masters complete. Just the small matter of 16000 words left to write but we shan’t worry about that. Time to celebrate with ice cream!
