Why? Wouldn’t you rather read multiple viewpoints? We can’t segregate away that which bothers us, annoys us or merely another take on an issue. One can also choose not to read it, if so inclined….

sure- we do that where I come from also— but a politician should be aware of precision in his language. Also, it is hard to compare being afraid to wear a hijab in public to bodies falling from the burning buildings. That seems tone deaf to me.

The author ends up positing more questions than he began with especially about how to deal with children/That one study he cites in the beginning had a very small sample-size/It was published 10 years ago& I have not read that there has emerged any more or better evidence that trans is biological.

This is simply not true. There are marginal differences in SOME trans brains but this is not university true.

Hell there isn't enough difference between male and female brains to categorically say that a specific brain belongs to any gender.

Gender is a social construct and not biological.

I was comparing two sex specific needs that are addressed by having separate facilities for men and women. So no, that is not illogical.

It is illogical. Why not have urinals in women’s bathrooms? (No one said that they are scary, it just does not make sense.)

I don’t feel that way. I would just like women to be able to continue to have protected spaces- like locker and changing rooms, public multi-stalled bathrooms, prisons!, sports teams. I say this not to exclude anyone.
