French Defense Minister Sébastien Lecornu announced that production of SCALP-EG cruise missiles will restart in 2025, 15 years after the last order. The move comes amid recognition of the missile's effectiveness in Ukraine, where it’s being widely used against Russian forces.

Ukraine's SBU claims that today’s special operation “Pavutyna” struck 34% of Russia’s strategic cruise missile carriers at key airbases. The estimated value of the damaged aviation assets is $7 billion.

Yesterday, Russian forces launched a large-scale assault in southern Ukraine wit ~320 troops, ~40 armored vehicles, 3 tanks & 10 buggies.
Ukrainian defenders hit them with drones & artillery. After a 2-hour battle, 29 vehicles and 140 Russians were destroyed. No Ukrainian positions were lost.

Another strike hit Russia’s 112th Missile Brigade (Shuya, Ivanovo region). Ukrainian drones targeted weapon depots, personnel quarters, vehicle shelters, a power substation, and a water tower. This is the same brigade that attacked Sumy. Results are being assessed, but signs point to serious damage.
