My mum taught me how to vote. The amount of people I meet who don’t understand the importance of going down the list till you don’t want your vote transferred to a candidate is astounding. Today I spoke with a politician who narrowly got in… he was no. 10 on one of the transfer votes. It mattered.

We live beside a roundabout where every single emergency vehicle, fire/ambulance/police, puts on its sirens to get though the traffic… and every single motorbike revs up & takes off once they’re off it…. 6am is peachy 🍑

Like you, I’ve no kids, but I have many young people in my life & I care deeply about their futures. Also, if we don’t look after them, who will look after us when the tables of age & ability have turned? & btw, data centres & tech are not the be-all & end all… small businesses are vital.
