I haven’t read these since the first time I read them in high school/college and it’s WILD how differently it hits now. Like, the themes didn’t go over my head last time, but it definitely felt like a distant concept rather than a tangible political reality…its….a very interesting experience now. 📚💙

The theater industry broke my brain into thinking I had no value as a performer and had no business trying to pursue it, but I went back to my old community theater this weekend and sang one of my old songs with some very dear friends and I feel so reinvigorated and my heart is so full 🥹

I don’t know if there’s a crowd here for this but I went to the Oddities Flea Market in NYC today and here is my haul 😌 (peep the antique apothecary bottle and old prescriptions sold to me by a certain notable Big Brother player of the past 😉)
