I saw THE PRINCESS BRIDE in theater in '87. I was 7 or 8. Instantly quotable. Watched it over & over again on VHS. Last year I got to show it to my daughter and she loved it too. The gift of a timeless classic. And Rob Reiner had multiple. I just can't fathom this tragedy. RIP to a legend.

Oh it's gotta be Thomas Rosales Jr. That homie has been in sooooo many things I love! These pics aren't even everything. If it's only acting, that's the first 3, but he's also a stuntman and if that's included you get the 4th pic. This dude deserves recognition!

RIP to the legend Diane Keaton.
The confession scene in The Godfather 2 is one of the greatest screen acting scenes of all time. Keaton's "Oh Michael" is the key that opens the door to her unbridled honesty that saves her soul and destroys what's left of his.

50 years ago Born to Run was released by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. It's a no skip masterpiece in my book.

9 years ago I worked a signing event with Spike Lee that John Singelton showed up to as a surprise. After that I went to the Hollywood Bowl with my wife and our friend to see Sufjan Stevens. That was a good August day.

All in all, not too shabby.
I think Fatal Beauty and Happy Gilmore 2 got half or full star bumps. Fatal Beauty becasue of the suppoting cast & LA setting. Happy Gilmore 2 becasue I'm a sentimental idiot.

No other artist reminded me of my dad more than Chuck Mangione. My dad died when I was 14 months so listening to his record collection was a way to commune with him and he loved Chuck. His music was special for me and though he's gone now his music will never lose its magic.
RIP Chuck Mangione

Absolutely agree. May I submit character actor Thomas Rosales Jr. who played smaller parts than Walsh (J.T. or Emmett) or Polito but who's resume for the last 40 odd years is absolutely stacked. This is just a sample that doesn't even include his stuntman credits which adds even more all-timers
