We’re looking at how we can get rid of ours. It’s a perfectly good car - but I really don’t want to be associated with that man. I just hope we can get something for it, from someone with less principles than we have.

My UK bank has no branches. I’ve been with them since they started as phone banking only and are now online only. And they’re the brilliant First Direct. I can’t see the point of bank branches.

I’m ashamed to admit that we own a Tesla. To be honest, it’s a great car. But I feel ashamed to be seen in it nowadays, and I fear its value will have plummeted in the past couple of weeks.

I’m so old that one of the projects I was given at work was to investigate ‘whether there is a potential application for personal computing in the Marketing Department’. I’m relieved to report that my conclusion was ‘yes’.
