Last night was my last shift on labour ward before I start my Clinical Sustainability Year 💚
I was gifted with back-to-back-to-back theatre cases 🙈
This wonderful Midwife is Rachel…she brought in a homemade apple crumble and at 5am it was like nectar to my tired soul 💛 The MVP of the shift!

Obsessed that he has not one but TWO editions of Kumar and Clark in this picture…there have been four (!) subsequent published editions since he graduated from medical school 😂

Toxidromes are commonly managed in ICU and @toxbase.bsky.social is an invaluable recourse for guidance, especially in complex cases. Dr Aravindan Veiraiah has taken us through some tox cases with useful advice and evidence to guide our practice @yicc.bsky.social #YICC2025 🦁🐯🐻

We all have our favs but nailing my colours to the mast - I hate venflons they are too blunt, all cannulae should have wings, ports are for winners 💅🏻💁♀️ #MedSky

Today I had a full day of simulation training at work. All very good/useful but being on high-alert all day is exhausting! Brain is fried and I have retreated immediately to the sofa 😂😴 currently tucked under my new Sherpa-lined duvet watching ER 🙂

FRCA revision not going well 😩so made time for a cold walk in the park which was actually really lovely. Glad to have got some fresh air and hopefully it will help my poor brain to function 🙏
