I’ve read about this a lot in the recent past and nobody seems to use them, some mairies won’t issue them as it is seen as niche. The new EES etc will override it soon

Happy Xmas, dog walking an absolute minimum, choc eating at the max. Did see a neighbour (Maurice) who gave me a festive flash of his car lights just now. All is quiet in our hameau/village.

I used to live half an hour away from Limoges, but its wartime use was pointed out to me in the UK. It’s a nice city - esp its award winning railway station!

fascinating - I live in France and had never heard of it. The verb Limoger refers to the town of Limoges which got it's link after a wartime captain who did more harm than good was sent far from the front line, i.e. Limoges. Again, fallen out of usage I think.

I’m not surprised - he wasn’t great in Wolfs with George Clooney. His followers must have dropped away.
