Was hanging out with a group of mostly straight people last night when a few of them started making homophobic jokes…I was the only person to ask why/get upset about the open homophobia. This was a group of “liberal” people in a progressive city, laughing about and encouraging homophobia

There are a decent amount of people who think I’m ridiculous/dumb for choosing not to buy from Amazon, not watch the Superbowl, not listen to artists who were quiet on Palestine, etc. but holy fuck why are ppl still giving their money to ppl without morals
