I have that series as Henry read it some years ago. Maybe it should be my next read. I strongly recommend anything by John Gwynne! He’s a Sussex boy, too.

I went to two high schools, all girls, and each produced a famous actor: Sybil Thorndike and Jean Simmons. When I taught one of my pupils was Damien Barber who went in to win young British folk musician of the year.
