So Guthrie and Sinclair are not in fact ‘Progressive’? Well there goes the UCP lawsuit…

Pretty sure an MLA calling her constituents MF’ers is enough to talk about neglect of duties and incompetence. And frankly, that is one of the least concerning things this UCP government has done in the past several months. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

Won’t go anywhere. Progressive Conservative was also used by the federal party among others. There is no right to the words themselves.

It is no different than Apple suing (which they haven’t) people for using the name Apple in their company names.

Based on the UCP Budgets since their 2019 WMA decision, the number of teachers hired did NOT keep up with new students and classroom complexities. This was why teachers did not agree to this ‘offer’. 3000 ‘new’ teachers won’t keep up and classroom complexities will only become worse.

I still can't thread, but I do know $750 million is more than $400 milion

There’s more. The September offer that teachers voted down, according to this ATA memo, was worth $750 million over three years.

The offer teachers rejected in May proposed $405 M/3y.

And what I confirmed today is that the actual spend coming is $400M in 3 years. #AbEd #AbLeg

This was a MASSIVE concern when it came to the ‘offer’ to teachers. If ‘growth’ (WMA was funding less teachers than necessary to keep up) required 1K+ new teachers a year anyway, 3K teachers over the next 3 years means not only is classroom complexity NOT getting better, it is getting worse.

Such an interesting phase of governance we come to find normal. Like our MAGA neighbours to the south, the UCP are encouraging pay-to-play advocacy to make (and remake) laws.

So many conservatives have falsely suggesting unions were funding political parties, will they also speak out in this case?
