Does sound for radio. Trying to play better sax.
Really? You’re doing this to me? At Christmas?

Hello @robinince.bsky.social . I’ve just finished your book (Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal). I don’t really read books. This, though, is an excellent, supportive, thought provoking book. And I read all of it.
Thank you for writing it.

Here’s the tourist information film we made 20 years ago. YouTube hasn’t coped particularly well with the old digital camcorder footage, but I think it still gives a flavour of our neighbourhood.

The world’s a bit mad at the moment, so I put a song on #SoundCloud to cheer me up.

Since being given a lovely piano I’ve been playing the fiendish studies I should have practised 40 years ago. Consequently I’ve developed Czerny’s elbow.

Producer and presenter leave the #BBC radio studio after this desk’s final live transmission. Over 19 years of almost constant use it’s seen royal funerals, weddings, poetry, politics, Mongolian heavy metal and woman’s hour phone ins. At least. BBC engineers have helped a lot.

Anybody else rewarded for getting through Christmas Day without a trip to the emergency vet by having their back door spontaneously explode at midnight?

Me. Every sax lesson I’ve had.

Ha! Just realised I’ve practised the sax (one of them) every day for 6 months. Some days for over an hour, some for just a scale or 2. It’s definitely made a difference, as my music teachers told me it would 45 years ago.

Needed to replace a cable for a condenser mic this evening. These were the only 2 available in the studio. My inner voice was telling me to use neither. #oldskoolSM

This could be the only photo ever to be taken of her not sniffing the ground.

Hello. First post may as well be this evening’s dog walk on Dunstable Down. This photo taken a whole minute before our dog decided to stuff her right ear with badger poo. Standard.
