Cheetah in Chobe National Park. We came across him at dawn, and stayed with him as the first golden light broke through. A most unexpected and memorable sighting.

One of the birds I was keen to see in Chobe - the Southern Ground Hornbill. Sadly their numbers have dropped dramatically as there is a shortage of suitable nesting trees that suit their needs. They are wonderful to see - huge and prehistoric looking and fantastically successful at finding prey.
