I really went into con crunch mode to finishing this one for #portcon so I don't have a huge amount of progress for it.

Some of the progress that got me to the finished cosplay!

Heck yeah! Hua cheng!

What this hua cheng is starting to look like!!

I generate ideas through rigorous trial and error. It can take days for me to settle on trim
arrangements, or days to simply choose a lace fabric I feel has the potential. When I am
designing outside of the original concepts I like to sketch to figure out what has a good flow.
