I would say the right are borrowing from Israeli propaganda. Promote violence but always center yourself as the victim, project your own behavior onto your opponents and censure them for it.

There is a video on Instagram of an ICE agent yelling, "It doesn't matter if you're a US citizen anymore," as he drags an Iranian immigrant away, who's screaming he's a legal US citizen. ICE gets a bonus for each person, & the detention center gets a huge payment even if everyone knows it's BS.
