Hopefully Henry will manage to wake up not only before Hans but also before dawn. Else he will transform back. With not a single peace of cloth covering him.

At this point it’s already way into the night and Hans struggles more and more to stay awake. Eventually he falls asleep finally. And Henry still in his wolf form decides to do the same.

After an annoyed question from Hans side if he’s supposed to stay here and wait, and a very clear nod from the wolf. Hans dismount his horse and decides to wait by the fireplace.

So Hans about to ride out, likely back to Rattay. Maybe Henry chickened out and ran back.

However the wolf beast is very determined to make sure Hans is not leaving the camp. Placing himself in the way and scaring the horse to stop Hand from riding anywhere.

Cause what do all of the answers hes getting even mean? The wolf knows where Henry is, but it can’t lead him to him. The wolf knows that Henry is alive, not in danger and seemingly not out somewhere in the woods?

But what if Hans after a few puzzling questions from the wolf beast about Henry. Decides that it’s pointless to try to talk to the beasts.

Oh yes it does. However I should mention that Henry in his Werewolf form can not talk. He limited to human gestures but otherwise can only vocalise like a wolf could.

Wolf Henry just shortly shakes his head, in such a human like manner that it makes Hans stop mid sentence. Does this wolf beast understand the human language?

Only to then spin around for a moment before laying down onto his own bed roll.

Hans still hasn’t connected the dots at this point. And tries to come how get the large wolf to understand that his friend is still out there.
