The final product! The skull was imposed onto the main head drawing with a clipping mask attached to the text. The remaining text was filled white and set on the "exclusion" layer type, then clipping masked onto the head. I don't know what the text/font craziness is called, don't come at me lol. (same entry) the skull is overlayed on top of the main image, with the skull being shaded through grey scale and getting a gradient map applied. I colour picked shades for the gradient map directly from images of preserved skeletons of small critters (I cannot find the name of the technique, but I've seen it with small rodents, reptiles and birds- the skeletons look purple-ish blue and cyan at times) An entry for a discord icon contest for a closed species of feathery dragons- the full image of the main face with no funky filters.

I think we all have at least one person in our lives that doesn't give two shiney shits about who they're hurting, as long as they're benefiting themselves, and the pain doesn't affect them directly.

A galactic themed jester character with clothing I've designed for his use. He wears a funky jacket with puffy jester sleeves, a ruffle around their neck and a corsetted ruffly shorts. The colours are in the themes of blue, cream, white and gold. Character is literally called jester, uses any pronouns. A chibi-esque commission drawing of Gablian, a client's EFNF/Egyptian feathered night fury OC. They're a dark coloured character with a lot of variation in the hues of their colours, but not much contrast in general. Image may be a little unreadable A beach scene for the same client, includes the same Gablian character (running in the back) and Xiaojiang, the red night fury character. As far as I'm privy they're a romantic couple in their human/humanoid forms

Quote: One statistic I’ve seen MIS used far too much is the “44 percent of lesbians and 61 percent of bisexual women experience rape, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner, compared to 35 percent of straight women. 1 in 7 women and 1 in 25 men have been injured by an intimate partner.” It’s often used to excuse the toxic masculinity men exhibit, and to point fingers at someone else. firstly- the actual statistic, numbers wise, is correct, BUT it is used incorrectly to force a stupid and homophobic agenda the ACTUAL study doesn’t prove that lesbians are somehow more abusive, quite the contrary- it shows that in a WLW relationship, 44% of women HAVE experienced DV SOMETIME in their lives. which makes sense considering in a relationship between 2 women- when 1 in 7 women have been injured by a romantic partner- the chance grows. because it’s 2 women, and not one woman and one man. People misquoting it also conveniently don’t mention the DV rates women report in straight relationships- and I’m saying REPORT very intentionally. in 95% (yes, I’m serious) of femicides by an abusive partner the ‘reason’ is the MAN’s unemployment. and 80% of all DV partners since 1994 to 2010 have been female. AS WELL AS 77% of women aged 18-24, 76 25-34, and 81% 35-49 have been repeatedly abused by the same offender. ALSO ALSO, 1 in 3 women, and 1 in 20 men have been MURDERED by an intimate partner. 1. in. 3. women. Oh and 70% of all femicide cases happened in the US, 3 women are killed EVERY DAY in the US- and 92% of victims have been killed by a man they knew somewhere in their lives, with 63% being killed by current or ex partners. OH! and by the way- only 5% of men are killed by their partner, and it often occurs when the WOMAN acts in self defense. food for thought. Art credit: Bean Brothers Art Another misused statistic is about detransitioners. as a trans guy, I have nothing against people who have detransitioned- as long as they don’t use their experience as a weapon against the trans community. Detransitioning, I bet, is not a fun experience either, and more often than not medical detransition happens not due to regret, but outside factors (health, money etc). One study, paraded around by the anti-trans crowd, claimed that 80% of trans children desisted later in life. However, when the study underwent scrutiny, researchers discovered that the methodology was deeply flawed. The study in question did not differentiate between the following: In fact, nearly half of the children involved in the study could not be located at its conclusion. They were recorded as “desisters” by default, and thus, “detransitioners”. However, they’re not the same thing. In fact, the only justifiable conclusion that peer reviewers could draw from the study upon scrutiny of its data, was that strong gender dysphoria was a good predictor of future medical transition. The real rates are- 0.47% (it doesn’t even round up to 1%) of trans people in the UK have experienced regret. 8% of Americans have reported some kind of detransition- but 62% said it was temporary due to societal, financial or family pressures- making the actual rates 4,96% While in Sweden 2% have reported regret about SURGERY, not transition explicitly. Additionally, only 0.4% of all trans people have detransitioned due to finding out they’re not trans- not the aforementioned 80%. Mind you, 3% of trans people detransition all together- and 5% of that actually regret ever transitioning, meaning the more common reasons are financial or societal pressures. Art credit: Harvey

My father's side (he's from 1940) spent their time in Soviet camps. My father himself was only let go when his mother (a doctor) lied about him having a heavily contagious, life threatening disease.

Also let me make it abundantly clear; my family from my mother's side is Jewish, some of them survived the holocaust- my great gran, despite being a Jewish girl, looked the part to be taken to a Nazi family- the Slavic blonde hair and light blue eyes was desirable.
