Tiktok in a way seems to have been the peak of that sort of social media and for some reason it feels as if we will be moving backwards into an era that almost resembles the early internet, into an era of blogs and independent websites, which i find incredibly exciting

for context i started high school in 2012 and graduated in 2016. a lot of what we consider modern social media was created during those years, w a lot of people even being nostalgic for that era of social media.
