America did not need to be remade. We had the strongest economy in the world, had a plan where if you followed a career you could retire and travel the world. We had a good economy, we had a great political system and the best military. We had healthcare for all & food for needy. Why break it! WTF.

I’m telling music stories. I met Bono of U2 at The Nick in Birmingham, AL in 1987 and there were 15 people in the room. It was like a Wednesday night. Then I went home at 11 pm because I had to teach the next day. We shared some laughs. U2 was a great band.

Some people in America did what we considered was the right thing. We got a job and worked at the job for many years -often more than 25 or more. As a result, we wound up with a retirement portfolio. These portfolios are being gutted. Why is he going after the working, middle class?
