I have a formal education, rent my own places to live, walk out on the street alone or with others I choose, dress as I please, earn my own money, have bank accounts, belong to a labor union, make art, protest, drive. There are men in this world who deny women these freedoms as a theology.

Until recently, I thought it was prissy to keep my spoken words clean. For example, routinely using "n" word, "bitch" or "bitches" as a substitute for Black people and women. I now believe using and hearing these words stains your unconcious mind with bias against the folks you believe you respect.

Thinking about the sentimentalization of sexual coming of age movies. For women, I mean. Desires, ignorance, curiosity, the risk of pregnancy, the pleasure of sex, the risks of violence, domestic stifling, the violence in a Madonna/Whore culture. The vacuum of silence on women's sexuality.

Gratfeul this morning for my friend Chris Daniels, the poet and translator. One day he put "O Magnum Mysterium" on the stereo and we listened silently to the very end; I wept. As a friend, he was one of the rare ones who I can listen with.

Two days ago, he took a shit on the American people. Today, he began demolishing the People’s House. That’s all he does. He shits on people, and he destroys things. Bcuz he’s a horrible person. I blame him a lot for the death & destruction he’s caused. I blame his enablers & his appeasers even more.

At this point, the media is as much to blame for how things are. When Rapey McCankles lies, and it’s not instantly challenged on easy to fact check statements, he effectively continues to push his agenda. His agenda has nothing to do with helping Americans.

If the current regime chose its own artist to sculpt statues for the White House, they'd choose Arno Breker and not know he's dead or who his patrons were. Their aesthetics give me the creeps.

streets demolished, pipes destroyed, water polluted and bodies scattered through the rubble. POTUS imagined hotels in Gaza, a holiday spot. Please God, don't let anyone profit from this destruction. Bless all hostages released.

Imagine making six figures to not do anything you were entrusted to do.

…getting paid to not work while thousands of civil servants around you were getting fired.

…betraying those who counted on you to represent them, all to appease a wannabe dictator.

The GOP Congress is a helluva thing.
