Hey...I didn't write the TV Guide listing. Maybe the writer had one too many drinks or failed to watch the show before they wrote up the clip.
The house killed the witch, it was out of Dorothy's control. I believe it opened at her Aunt's house so the statement is incorrect all the way around.

I guess I always focused on the "fun" part of it. Not that skinning my knees was much fun but freely playing outside, climbing hills & trees was.
