A billion is a made up number that happens to not apply to most people debating. To some, people making 6 figures are rich and should have half taken away. The point is that it shouldn't be mandated. The most efficient and functional assistance programs have always been driven by charity, not force.

That wasn't the point. The point was that you shouldn't mandate charitable giving of those who make more than we do, but if you are rich like Obama and want to give more, feel free. But taxation for most of these programs without consent is not constitutional and it's rife with waste and fraud.
