It's been a decade since I saw this, but the slow creeping horror it had spooked me good back then and memories has stayed with me ever since. It was also good movie.

I was very dismissive of it for years, but about 3 years ago I finally gave it a real chance and it has since rapidly become one of my favorite game settings.

It's a great game and nowadays the lore is good too.
It's just a difficult setting to get into as not many people can't bother to read the novels and AOS doesn't have a good video game yet.

I always remember that one Painting Phase video where ex-GW employees confirm that GW was weeks away from bankruptcy.
Also best setting? Having grown up with it, I do love it dearly. But let's be real, it's a thinly veiled collection of Tolkien and DnD tropes and cultural pastiches, not high art.

I would have FromSoftware make a new King's Field game and remake Dark Souls 2.
I don't even care that much about the franchise, but I would have them make a new ending season or two for Game of Thrones, either live-action or animated, just so that we can have some real closure.

Path to Glory has a mechanic for building your own character. For friendly games I would absolutely allow for people to use those.

In an age when complex epic fantasy books, with introspective main characters and nuanced and sympathethic antagonists are all the rage.
Man, I just like a simple, fun and a bit dumb fantasy stories. With straightforward heroes and honest villains that aren't afraid to just be evil.

I don't like the citadel pots, dropper bottles all the way. However, I'll fully admit that it's really satisfying to peel those things off.

Actually that dagger and it's crossguard is very similar to some existing FEC blades. This has to be FEC.
