I was very dismissive of it for years, but about 3 years ago I finally gave it a real chance and it has since rapidly become one of my favorite game settings.

It's just a difficult setting to get into as not many people can't bother to read the novels and AOS doesn't have a good video game yet.

Also best setting? Having grown up with it, I do love it dearly. But let's be real, it's a thinly veiled collection of Tolkien and DnD tropes and cultural pastiches, not high art.

I don't even care that much about the franchise, but I would have them make a new ending season or two for Game of Thrones, either live-action or animated, just so that we can have some real closure.
