On a more personal note, this post starts with a little call to action: the Kickstarter search functionality I've been relying on for almost 2 years simply stopped working a couple weeks ago when it started showing stuff from May 2024 as the most recent successful campaigns.

For example, the Island Nature shows four components
- a concealed entrance
- a lone tree
- churning waves
- endless stars

These pieces are unified in the facing illustration, showing how they create an overall effect very in keeping with Wanderhome's original artstyle

You mean the very normal name for fans of the English soccer team Arsenal?

For those of you who just want the alignment chart, here it is. I could not for the life of me find a game using secret ballots for non-specific religious decision-making so if you have one lmk

If you're wondering what this game is like, it's basically this image

Check it out! It's free, it's weird, and I hope it makes you experience some gender

Currently working on a larp about WW2 soldiers doing drag for Christmas, a hack of the excellent Benediction by Laura op de Beke. I’m doing layout for it now so I’m hoping to release it by the end of the month

New review! My experience of Red Mug Games' Haunted Heist, a comedy horror game of criminal spirits. My play experience of this game was frustrating, but that was due, as I detail in the review, in large part to a mistake that I personally made while prepping to run the game.

Finally, the Rewards all give fun levers for the players to pull in future sessions. Faerie magic is all about change and chaos, so these introduce some of that into the game while still giving players control over when they engage with it

Something I'm trying to do in all these Threats is give a tweak to the standard format for The Between. Here, it might turn out that someone you met before was a changeling the whole time! Shake up the world! Nothing is certain!

I really enjoyed writing the Moments for this Threat. They're very evocative of its subjects and gives players something to actually do in response to them (thank you to Gauntlet discord members for advice on how to punch them up)
