I bought Brink on release. A rather infamously disappointing game considering the potential and background it had.
The best thing I got out of it was a cool hat for the Sniper in Team Fortress 2, but even that gets comments about being the edgelord hat lol

The Warriors, one of the more well-known "good licensed games". Notably made by Rockstar Games
It expands on the movie by being about 2/3rds prequel, which helps avoid the typical movie game shortness. The combat is fun, co-op play is great, and it nails the music of the movie as well

After 291 Nintendo 64 games, we finally have to do it. We're playing a little-known game called The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on N64Mania tonight, and for multiple Fridays in a row, in fact!

Excluding any game that is standalone/hasn't had a follow-up: I think it has to be Vivian! Great character, cute purple ghost with fire powers, very useful in fights.
Barely outside of the rules because of a spin-off (Hyrule Warriors), but a bigger fave is Midna. Best Zelda companion, I love her

101% complete! Honestly was a surprisingly comfy 19 hours of streaming. Somehow a big 10(!?) hours less than my last 99% file from ~11 years ago.

Did a couple celebratory runs of Hercules last night to celebrate making it into SGDQ and stay fresh, and beat my previous WR twice for about ~55s total!
Thinking I can get it to a mid-1:03 PB by SGDQ. 1:02:XX is about where it gets starts to get real optimized with current strats
