Imagine going from beloved children's author who created worlds of magic and inspired a whole generation to read more only to fester and descend into bigotry and hate to the point where you haven't actually made anything new people like in over a decade and are instead defined by harm

You inspired CHILDREN! You made them believe in STORY and MAGIC and the power of BOOKS!

And now you spend your days mocking children who are just trying to survive in a world that, in part due to your own efforts, hates them and wants them to suffer for existing.

the future looks bleak sometimes, so I hold on to some wholesome goodtime feelings. so many of modern history's worst people will probably kick it in the second half of the 2020's or the 2030's at the latest. that won't fix much, but it will be a party.

Control maybe the first game I’ve ever played that made me wish it was a TV show instead.
Loved the characters, vibes, and sidequests but man I hated the gunplay and it turns out Open World Office Building is a chore to navigate.
The TK powers were a lot of fun, though.
