Ridiculously gorgeous evening last night (Almscliffe Crag). Was so pretty I wasn't even that upset when my rear light fell off my bike & got squashed by a car.

Scenic cycle from Fryupdale to Whitby today. Had the best veggie fish & chips I've ever in the Quayside restaurant - highly recommend (also much cheaper than actual fish). That nasty kind of wet cold today, so it was a well earned lunch.

Probably my muddiest ride ever today (so far at least). Been riding off road for years (CX & gravel) but MTB unlocks new levels of mud.

Wet 66 miles in the Dales today. No gloves required though, so mild compared to this time last week.

I'm not happy about it, obviously some people have wronged by him, but I would be happy if I never see his cartoonish beaming face on TV ever again.
