He was having none of it and instead lied to his bosses that it was caused by the caching servers. Caching servers that were a dynamic, meaning they cache items when they're retrieved, not preemptively. That means they don't generate traffic, they just cache anything they don't already have

This is of course assuming that the axe doesn't fall from the recent EA acquisition, it was reported around that time that EA was looking to sell off BioWare so, you know, that's fine and good

2028 estimate was made with the understanding that they still had multiple projects on the go, but Mark's videos give us insight into BioWare's slow march towards being only able to work on one project at a time. You can see it in the layoffs and people being moved on to other projects inside of EA
