I must admit he is annoying at times. At least he can articulate the issue when needed.
What I can't understand is the apparent disregard for any change to the plan. We are not privy to anything, however, on the surface, it just appears stubborn and arrogant.

I totally get that people were upset, angry, despondent, etc.
I just feel deflated. The club has made so many poor decisions over the last few seasons. TF has sent far too many of our youngsters out on loan. Have we improved the squad?
We need to stop fire fighting, have a plan, and stick to it

One of Levy's biggest mistakes was sacking him and then not backing him with signings for over a season.
We could have grown from there, and to your point, who knows where we would be now.

Hopefully, there will be some honest reflection over the coming days. It's surely a strength of character to reassess, change what needs to be done, and move forward.

For a number of years, I was a Foodhall manager at M&S.
"So expensive, can't afford to shop there, great quality etc." Was the constant comment. Yes, a destination shop at Christmas and Easter, Dine was M&S.

It's a shame Finn is not on TMS for this series....head and shoulders above Vaughan, etc. He is articulate and interesting, and there is no side to him.
