I will sing the praises of IDA to anyone who asks. (Fun fact: No one has ever asked.) It’s possibly my favorite film of the past 15 years. Just rewatched it again before it leaves Mubi and was again struck by its examination of identity: What shapes it and how mutable it actually is. Phenomenal.

I confess that I have a dentist phobia. Every single time I go for a cleaning I treat it like I’m the protagonist of CLEO FROM 5 TO 7.
