Unfortunately, bias in research/the exaggerated effectiveness of medicalized therapy is not shocking. However, Schelder's example of a study misconstruing grad students as qualified therapists was jarring in terms of how extensively bias negatively impacts science/health. @drwilliamsharp.bsky.social

Currently, the risks to patients and providers outweigh the benefits of sharing session notes. For instance, providers will filter their reports, given that patients will read them and potentially respond negatively, impeding their therapeutic relationship and treatment. @drwilliamsharp.bsky.social
