Very much a hard lesson to learn! I’ve done it for 13 years now and have gone through burnouts quite a few times. Funny enough, my favorite break hobby is to pull out my old Latin textbook from college. I hope it works for you too!!

For me personally, allowing myself to go back to old hobbies and taking time to do stretches of those muscles helped, but took a while! I crochet and it’s a side business for me, and I have to take two-four week breaks every few months or else I can’t stomach it for over six months. Take more time!!

You can’t tell an artist to get a “real job” and then go home and watch movies and read books and play video games and wear clothes and sit on furniture and literally involve yourself in every facet of life that’s been touched by a trained designer of some sort

do not give into thoughts like “nothing matters”, it’s not true. everything matters as long as we are all alive

Usamerican (sadly) here, I’ve never heard of a credit card that isn’t 18+ and most won’t allow you to get one with their company unless you already have good credit so they’re 21+ in practice
