if it was like, 2 years ago, maaaaaaybe i would have considered coming out at this new job. but now, absolutely not, i do not have it in me to argue with HR about the EHRC guidance about where i should go to the bathroom. so instead, i just have to be viewed as a cis woman and i hate it

and yet i don't even feel like i can talk about this in a lot of spaces (especially trans/queer) bc i get told that "[i] don't care about trans women bc they're the real targets here" and it's like yeah i know, it doesn't stop the legislation to be binarist as fuck either or affecting me either

like i can't get a grc even if i wanted to, i have to have F on my passport so i can travel to see my bf bc i can be denied a passport if it's not F (or M but transphobia so no), we just. do not exist according to the government and i'm just. tired of being told "nonbinary people don't exist"

idk it's just. i was ready to socially transition (fully) as nonbinary but with everything going on i don't feel safe doing that anymore, especially in work contexts. and like yeah i have the privilege of "appearing cis" but also like. erasing my identity isn't really a privilege either
