Don't get me wrong, I was once a registered Democrat too, but the party today is certainly not the same party of the late 1960s, 1970s, where the party had great outspoken individuals who truly cared about the people. Today, there is only a sprinkling of that.
I keep hoping that will change too.

With the exception of Al Green, along with the Governor of California, and the CT Democrats, what the hell is the Democratic Party doing ?? This play nicely shit dont fly with me. When Al Green got shunned by the Democrats for telling it like it is, that's when I knew the party was done.

The CT Dems to their credit are doing the absolute best they can to get people more mobilized and active in rallies, etc... but the majority of the Democrats nationwide have been an absolute letdown dare I say disgrace.
Its almost as if their sponsors are telling them they must restrain, give in..

Don't you think it's time to consider fighting back ?? Thats the one problem i have with Democrats, how they simply accept their fate today. The 1960s Democrats would have been ready for a fight. Maybe that's what needs to happen. Can't just not do anything about it. Silence = Death.

The thing which angers me and forced me to leave the Democratic Party is because they just rolled over and played dead.
They didn't question anything, probably because their big $$ sponsors would not permit it.
