Because, make no mistake, they are enabling him by consistently acting as if he is right but just too boorish about it. That's how you teach people that he is acceptable, not actively destroying the US democracy by the day.

That's not what they did, nor is that ruling an excuse to commit political malpractice by refusing to do things because they might be hard. That's how you throw away the fact that people are furious at Republicans, and turn it into they're furious at Democrats more for enabling Republicans.

Not likely, Schumer has outright stated Trump lied to them three times. Schumers statement was awful in almost all other ways, but he made that clear.

Odd how you can be so confidently wrong. Here's a hint, he declared war, and lied to Congress about planning to. Also broke international law, but the US has a long history of doing so.

He's actively pretending the reason why the ACLU changed their policies on which lawsuits to assist wasn't because of Charlottesville, so, you know, he has opinions about which speech matters more. Pretty strong inclination it isn't the same as my opinions.
